Columbus Homicide Suspect Arrested In West Virginia

wvnews.com

Police in Charlston, West Virginia say they have arrested a suspect in a November murder in Columbus.

Police say 36-year-old Silas Hill II was arrested early Saturday after authorities received a tip. He is currently awaiting extradition. Hill is one of three suspects in the murder of 42-year-old Dwayne Madison in an apartment on the near east side following an argument. After being shot, Madison got into a vehicle and attempted to drive away but crashed into a parked car and a brick wall. Authorities earlier this month arrested another suspect in the case, 36-year-old Hubert Glanton.

Jim has been with WCBE since 1996. Before that he worked as a reporter at another Columbus radio station, and for three newspapers in Southwest Florida.
