Columbus police say a man shot and wounded his neighbor after he told the man to stop firing his gun to celebrate the New Year.
29-year-old Matthew Martin is being held on 750 thousand dollars bond out of the shooting in the 1500 block of Coronet Drive early Tuesday. He's due back in court next week. Police have repeatedly issued warnings against celebratory gunfire and fireworks over the years.
