The Ohio Highway Patrol says a Mount Vernon High School student was killed Thursday in a two-vehicle crash on Lower Gambier Road in Knox County.
Troopers say 16-year-old Joel Mullett collided head-on with a pickup truck. Alcohol and drugs are not believed to be factors and the cause is under investigation.
