Dublin Police Chief To Take Job With BCI Next Month

Dublin police chief Heinz von Eckartsberg will leave the job next month to become assistant superintendent of the Ohio Bureau of Criminal Identification and Investigation. 

His last day will be March 22, when Assistant Chief Justin Paez becomes acting chief. The Ohio Attorney General's office announced von Eckartsberg's appointment in a news release issued Tuesday. 

Jim has been with WCBE since 1996. Before that he worked as a reporter at another Columbus radio station, and for three newspapers in Southwest Florida.
