A Columbus police officer is hospitalized in stable condition after being shot last night during an ambush in Linden.
Police have not released the name of the plain-clothes officer who was shot near East Hudson Street and McGuffey Road while watching three suspects as part of an investigation. Police say the suspects saw the officer, then pulled their car behind his. One of the suspects then exited and opened fire. They have been arrested.
