A Pataskala church has apologized for an Easter lesson in which a pastor encouraged students to slap, cut and spit on him.
The incidents were captured in videos and posted online. Pastor Justin Ross of Impact City Church says the incidents happened Monday at an organized hangout session for middle and high school students. He says youth minister Jaddeus Dempsey was helping students learn about Easter and the crucifixion.
Ross and Dempsey apologized in a video uploaded to the church's Facebook page.
