Hocking County officials say a fire Tuesday caused 30 thousand dollars in damage to the county courthouse in Logan.
31-year-old Miranda McCormick is scheduled to appear in court today on an aggravated arson charge. Authorities say McCormick pulled a knife on responding Logan police officers and ran to an apartment, where they found an "improvised explosive device." Her family says McCormick has struggled with drug addiction. No injuries from the fire are reported.
