A Franklin County jury has recommended the death penalty for a Columbus man convicted earlier this month of killing his 4-year-old daughter and her mother last year.
26-year-old Kristofer Garrett is scheduled for sentencing on August 22nd. Prosecutors say he killed 34-year-old Nicole Duckson and their daughter outside of their Fleet Road home. His attorneys say Garrett is mentally ill, and the product of an abusive, neglectful childhood.
