Columbus police have filed charges against two teens in the June shooting death of another teen.
15-year-old Shamya Saultz was shot at an apartment on West Welch Avenue. Police say the teen suspects were playing with a loaded gun that accidentally discharged. Investigators in the immediate aftermath of the shooting said it was part of a home-invasion style robbery attempt. Police say the gun used in the shooting was obtained illegally.
