Columbus city crews have completed repair work on a historic war monument honoring service members from the Linden area.
The massive stone slabs around the memorial at Westerville Road and Cleveland Avenue had fallen over. Department of Recreation and Parks officials did not say if it was the work of vandals or nature. The city says repairs cost ten-thousand dollars less than originally estimated.
