Some parking meter rates in the Short North will decrease by up to 50 cents an hour beginning Monday evening.
Officials say meters on certain side street zones in the evenings will decline for people using the Park Columbus apps. Meters expected to be affected will be in six zones north of West Fifth Avenue, extending up to King Avenue and East Seventh Avenue. Daytime meter usage and paying by means other than the app will not be eligible.
