A Columbus man has been sentenced to 30 years in prison for his role in a violent drug gang.
Michael Favors earlier pleaded guilty to conspiracy to commit murder and other charges. Prosecutors say Favors was involved with Antwan Hutchinson in a violent drug ring in Columbus that murdered, tortured, assaulted, and intimidated people who owed them money. Hutchinson was sentenced to life without parole for killing Sidney Campbell and Marie Stamp in 2017 to prevent them from testifying against him and Favors.
