Columbus fire officials evacuated 20 homes last night on the north side to investigate claims made by a 911 caller who said he was working on a "quantum physics generator" and had burns.
Fire officials found no radiation or other problems in the neighborhood near Cranston and Riverside Drives. The man will undergo a mental health evaluation and faces charges of inducing panic.
