Ohio lawmakers are proposing a discount on a new all-electric vehicle that will be produced in-state.
The measure would offer a 500 dollar sales tax credit on buying personal electric vehicles and a one-thousand dollar incentive on commercial EVs. Automotive start-up company Lordstown Motors recently took over the former GM plant in Lordstown and will begin building a new all-electric pickup truck in November 2020.
