Columbus Police say a mother and her two-year-old daughter killed in a house fire Wednesday were the victims of homicide.
The fire on Retriever Road claimed the lives of 33-year-old Nerissa Distin, 42-year-old Gary Morris, and 2-year-old Serina Morris. Police say the elder Morris took his own life and the others were homicide victims. Neighbors reported hearing two explosions at the house.
