Four Lives Claimed In Two Weekend Crashes

The Ohio Highway Patrol says two people were killed in a one-vehicle crash in Morrow County Sunday morning.

Troopers say 48-year-old Edward Virgin  failed to stop at a stop sign on County Road 25 and struck an embankment. He and 40-year-old Charity Virgin were killed.  It not clear if alcohol or drugs were factors in the crash that remains under investigation. And Columbus police say an SUV crashed into a building Sunday, killing the driver and his passenger. Police say 51-year-old Jonathan Mitchell apparently lost control on an I-71  exit ramp and went off the road, struck a tree and a building on Hamilton Avenue. The passenger wasn't immediately identified.
