NYT: L Brands Top Official Named In Sexual Harassment Allegations

nytimes.com

Days after the Wall Street Journal Reported L Brands CEO Les Wexner plans to step down, the New York Times is reporting allegations of sexual harassment within subsidary Victoria's secret.

The report says several women were subjected to sexual harassment that went unpunished. The report mentions 71-year-old Ed Razek, one of the top executives, as the subject of repeated complaints about inappropriate conduct. Executives said they had alerted Wexner about his deputy’s pattern of behavior. Some women who complained faced retaliation. The report says on multiple occasions, Wexner was heard demeaning women. Razek says the allegations are untrue. He stepped down last year. L Brands responded, saying, “we regret any instance where we did not achieve this objective and are fully committed to continuous improvement and complete accountability.”
