Jane Fonda To Speak At Kent State On 50th Anniversary Of 1970 Shootings

Actor and anti-Vietnam War activist Jane Fonda is scheduled to speak at Kent State University on May 3rd. 

Her speech is one of several events planned to commemmorate the 1970 shootings by national guard troops that killed four students and injured nine others during a war protest. The school says Fonda will discuss political activism. 

Jim has been with WCBE since 1996. Before that he worked as a reporter at another Columbus radio station, and for three newspapers in Southwest Florida.
