CCS Reverses Course On Transition Coordinator Program Changes

Columbus City Schools are reversing the decision to make changes to the district's Transition Coordinator program.

Superintendent Talisa Dixon says after meeting with the Columbus Education Association this week, 21 of the 26 special education program and transition coordinators will not be moved to other positions as originally planned.  Critics said the move would place an undue burden on already overworked special education teachers.
