Republican Hamilton County Prosecutor Joe Deters has set a Tuesday deadline for Democratic Cincinnati City Council member Tamaya Dennard to resign or face removal from office.
Deters says if she does not resign, he'll ask the Ohio Supreme Court to suspend her while her federal corruption case proceeds. Deters is also hinting at filing state bribery charges against Dennard, who's accused of trading votes for money.
