Arnold Organizers Say Public Can Access All Events

Organizers of the Arnold Sports Festival in Columbus say they plan to allow spectators at all events unless ordered not to do so.

Festival co-founder Jim Lorimer says ticketed spectators would be allowed to view all competitions.  The announcement contradicts an earlier statement from Governor Mike DeWine and Columbus Mayor Andrew Ginther that only the championship final will be open to the public. DeWine and Ginther expect the organizers to honor the original agreement to limit spectators to only the finals.

Jim has been with WCBE since 1996. Before that he worked as a reporter at another Columbus radio station, and for three newspapers in Southwest Florida.
