Columbus police and Ohio State University are now jointly enforcing bans on public gatherings near campus.
Officials have received nearly a dozen reports of large groups of people drinking and having parties at off-campus housing. Violators could face misdemeanor charges that carry a 750-dollar fine and up to 90-days in jail, and students could face internal discipline.
