State Officials Say Data Shows Social Distancing Lowering Ohio's Projected COVID-19 Cases

State officials say there are now more than five-thousand confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Ohio, with 193 deaths and nearly 15-hundred hospitalizations.

State health director Amy Acton says efforts at social distancing have drastically lowered the projections from ten-thousand new cases a day at the peak to 16-hundred.  Had Ohio taken no action, she says there would have been 62-thousand new cases per day.
