Ohio Governor Mike DeWine is calling on the federal government to help provide crucial materials that would allow for an increase in testing for coronavirus.
DeWine told NBC on Sunday Ohio hospitals conducting the testing lack needed chemicals known as reagents. DeWine also says the state needs more flexibility from Congress:
He is seeking help in obtaining reagents from the U.S. Food and Drug Administration. Later Sunday DeWine reported "a very positive phone call" from the agency.
