Following nearly five months of work, the bridge on Trabue Road was reopened over the weekend.
The Franklin County Engineer's Office says the bridge over the Norfolk and Southern Railroad lines between Walcutt Road and Westbelt Drive was shut down in early March. The renovated bridge features a new shared-use path.
