OSU Says COVID-19 Positivity Rate Declining

cnbc.com

Ohio health officials reported 778 new cases of COVID-19 on Monday and 17 new deaths.

Ohio now has 131,336 cases and 4,276 deaths.

Ohio State University says the daily COVID-19 positivity rate for students is declining.  The rate is now 4.3 percent for on-campus students and 5.4 percent percent for off-campus students.  The school has conducted more than 39-thousand tests so far.

The University of Dayton says nearly half of their 750 COVID-19 cases reported last week have now recovered. Since August 10th, over eleven-hundred students have tested positive, which directly contributed to Montgomery County's Red Level Three Emergency COVID-19 status.  The university has extended remote learning until September 14th.
