One of two teens charged with causing the death of a Chillicothe woman at Hocking Hills State Park last year has pleaded guilty.
17-year-old Jaden Churchheus pleaded guilty Wednesday to involuntary manslaughter in the death of 44-year-old Victoria Schafer as part of a plea bargain. Prosecutors in exchange dropped murder and reckless homicide charges. Sentencing is scheduled for October 15. 17-year-old Jordan Buckley is expected to formally change his plea in court on September 25.
