County Cornoner's Office Moves To New, Larger Home

midcityelectric.com

The Franklin County Coroner's Office has moved into its new, upgrated home on Frank Road.

The 37 million dollar Forensic Science Center is located at the former Harmon Elementary School site, with enough space to perform six autopsies at a time if necessary. It also allows for the addition of two more pathologists. The former office on King Avenue had only two tables, and the county had to rent a portable freezer due to a lack of space.

Jim has been with WCBE since 1996. Before that he worked as a reporter at another Columbus radio station, and for three newspapers in Southwest Florida.
