Police ID Suspect In Fatal Double-Stabbing

Columbus police say two women were stabbed and killed Tuesday, and the suspect is hospitalized in critical condition after attempting to commit suicide. 31-year-old Innocent Nshizirungu will be charged with the murders of his 25-year-old girlfriend Mariah Hurt and 43-year-old Wanda Myricks.  The two were killed  at a home on Walford Street following an argument.  The deaths mark the 172nd and 173rd homicides in Columbus in 2020.
