Terry Wilson

Terry Wilson was born and raised on the Appalachian Plateau in a small town called Salem, Ohio. Ironically, legendary Rock 'n' roll radio DJ, songwriter, and rock music cinema pioneer Alan Freed grew up there too. So, it seemed natural that with just a little encouragement, Wilson would gravitate toward showing off for a living too.

Before arriving in Columbus to attend Ohio State, he also learned rough carpentry, plumbing, and letterpress printing trades. However, all the while, the music was calling. Wilson’s career path includes WOSR-AM, WCOL-AM/FM, WBBY-FM, Magic 99.7-FM/WMNI-AM, and WOSU-TV. He considers himself fortunate and honored to have played a small part in broadcasting history in Columbus.
