Capital University's board of trustees has voted to change the Crusaders nickname and 'Cappy' mascot.
The board says Monday's vote followed a 15-month study, and says students and faculty at the Columbus school have challenged the nickname and mascot for their connections to The Crusades. The study found a significant portion of students and staffers agree. A schedule for change has yet to be released.
