Columbus' Homicide Rate Hits Triple Digits

Columbus police have identified the city's 101st homicide victim of the year.

20-year-old Dezujwuan Pyfrom was shot and killed Monday at Sunbury Road market. Police say he was killed by two people while parking his vehicle. The city's 100th homicide victim of the year, 22-year-old Keaira Ayers, was stabbed and killed Monday in the 1600 block of East Hudson Street. Investigators are searching for motives and suspects.   And Columbus' homicide rate is up this year over last. The city had 104 homicides last year, and hit triple digits in December.
