Ginther Says Five Criteria Must Be Met Before He Reopens Columbus

Columbus Mayor Andy Ginther says the reopening of the city will be based on science, "not dates."

That's an indication Governor Mike DeWine’s May 1 date to gradually ease coronavirus restrictions may be delayed locally. Ginther says  he has five criteria for reopening, but isn't saying what he will do if those things don't happen:

Ginther made his comments during last night's City Council  meeting. His office has also declined to say what Ginther will do if the state fails to meet the criteria.
