Friendship Missionary Baptist Church hosts a health and wellness event Saturday, May 1 featuring free cancer screenings, COVID vaccinations, and other health evaluations. The event will feature medical professionals from Ohio State's Wexner Medical Center, the James Comprehensive Cancer Center, Columbus Public Health, and more.
In addition to a variety of health exams for men and women, officials will offer information about community gardening, financial literacy, life insurance, funeral planning and other topics.
The event takes place from 8:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. and requires registration.
