Columbus police say new anti-crime technology was tested in the Hilltop neighborhood Monday.
Shot Spotter uses a series of microphones that act as electronic ears in the sky to detect and pinpoint the location of gunfire. Last year City Council approved spending nearly 700 thousand dollars to purchase the technology for use in three neighborhoods.
