  • Greg Moebius is lifelong Ohio resident and received his broadcast education at Ohio University. He's been up and down the radio dial with on-air stints in Zanesville, Athens, Nelsonville, Newark and, for the past 30 years, Columbus. His love of radio and music is apparent. Greg, currently a Westerville resident, spends his down time on Central Ohio's bike trails, festival-hopping and playing guitar with an amusing band of misfits known as The Highpoint Brothers.
  • Catherine Rinella is a creature of unknown quantity. She can be found haunting the hallways of WCBE on any given night or weekend, yet few ever see her. It is rumored that she was once an OSU undergrad intern who sold her soul to the station in exchange for employment. Now, her ghost wanders between studios, always watching, always listening, and occasionally hosting. When Rinella does escape the void, she works as a sound designer for local theaters and an audio editor for multiple podcast productions.
  • Elly Yu is a reporter at WABE, where she first got her start in public radio as angraduate student intern in 2013. Since then, she’s reported for WNYC, NPR’s Latino USA, and the New York Daily News among others.
  • Vikki Valentine is a senior supervising editor on NPR's science desk. She oversees the network's global health and development coverage across broadcast and digital platforms. Previously, Valentine was the network's climate change, energy, and environment editor and in this role was a recipient of a 2012 DuPont Award for coverage of natural gas drilling in Pennsylvania.
  • Laura first joined the KUT team in April 2012. She now works for the statewide program Texas Standard as a reporter and producer. Laura came to KUT from the world of television news. She has worn many different hats as an anchor, reporter and producer at TV stations in Austin, Amarillo and Toledo, OH. Laura is a proud graduate of the University of Missouri-Columbia, a triathlete and enjoys travel, film and a good beer. She enjoys spending time with her husband and pets.
  • Renata joined the WVIK News team in March 2014, as the Amy Helpenstell Foundation Fellow. She anchors during Morning Edition and All Things Considered, produces features, and reports on everything from same-sex marriage legislation to unemployment in the Quad Cities.
  • Jamala has been with KUOW since July 2004. She graduated from The Evergreen State college in Washington, where she focused on film, video and media studies. After several years working in video production, she began to pursue radio while working for the University of Washington's television station,UWTV. After a short stint as a volunteer radio host atKBCSpublic radio in Bellevue, she took the position of Broadcaster at the Evergreen Radio Reading Service, a radio reading service for the blind.
  • Talia Schlanger hosts World Cafe, which is distributed by NPR and produced by WXPN, the public radio service of the University of Pennsylvania. She got her start in broadcasting at the CBC, Canada's national public broadcaster. She hosted CBC Radio 2 Weekend Mornings on radio and was the on-camera host for two seasons of the television series CBC Music: Backstage, as well as several prime-time music TV specials for CBC, including the Quietest Concert Ever: On Fundy's Ocean Floor. Schlanger also guest hosted various flagship shows on CBC Radio One, including As It Happens, Day 6 and Because News. Schlanger also won a Canadian Screen Award as a producer for CBC Music Presents: The Beetle Roadtrip Sessions, a cross-country rock 'n' roll road trip.
