For something else to do while you're indoors, here are some helpful resources for virtual events and Columbus locales that can be experienced from the comfort of your own home!

¡Viva Festival Latino! will offer a series of online cultural events and activities that highlight some of the favorite features of Festival Latino, including offerings in Latin music, food, dance, visual artists, children’s activities, fashion, and community and health and wellness resources. The Ohiohana Book Festival is going digital for 2020! From August 29th to the 30th, they will be holding their annual book festival and hosting events via zoom and live broadcasts on the Facebook page. Find out more info here.

The Experience Columbus Blog has plenty of articles and lists of local events that are occuring entirely online, as well as listings for virtual tours of art exhibitions, and resources for finding local businesses that are continuing to support the Columbus community with their services.

NPR has been doing Tiny Desk Concerts since 2008 and they're still churning them out. Check out the latest tiny live shows on their website. These short, small band concerts are free to all to enjoy, any time, on their website or on the NPR Music YouTube channel.

Live Nation's "Live From Home" page has an extensive list of dozens of live virtual events from big-name artists happening every day. Give it a look!

The Virtual Nelsonville Music Festival will take place on the Stuart’s Opera House official YouTube channel on August 21-22 at 8pm EST. Each night will feature a different lineup of performers including CAAMP, Mandolin Orange, Hot Tuna, Shovels & Rope, Todd Snider, Haley Heynderickx, Bedouine, Joan Shelley, Tre Burt, Vieux Farka Toure, Cedric Burnside, Lydia Loveless, Snarls, Counterfeit Madison, Steve Poltz, Leggy, Hubby Jenkins, Angela Perley, Lisa Bella Donna, Ernie Johnson From Detroit, Water Witches, The D-Rays, Caitlin Kraus, the Stuart's Afterschool Music Program, and more! This event is free, but donations are strongly encouraged. There's a series of virtual concerts being held by Jorma Kaukonen of Furpeace Ranch Guitar Camp of Meigs County, Ohio. Here's a link to the news release and here's a link to the YouTube page where the event will be hosted.

ApART Together from CAPA entertainment continues August 6th-15th at 7PM! This free Facebook series will stream 30-minute sets from a variety of local artists, offering viewers the chance to connect with a wealth of local talent and providing the performers an opportunity to earn an income while venues are closed.
