Don’t miss these upcoming special programs that are sure to brighten your holiday festivities:

Christmas Eve

12pm - Christine McVie: Rare and Well Done - A tribute honoring one of the most well-loved voices in music, Christine McVie of Fleetwood Mac, who passed away on November 30th of 2022 at the age of 79 after a short illness. Her voice on her many hit songs with Fleetwood Mac will be remembered for years to come – but in this hour, Paul Ingles introduces you to some excellent performances that you likely haven’t heard, or barely heard, over her roughly 60 years in music. Plus, hear clips from a newly unearthed 1984 interview with Christine done by journalist/musician David Gans.

1pm - A Funk Christmas - A Merry Funk Christmas from Bootsy Collins, Stevie Wonder, James Brown, Earth, Wind & Fire, The Isley Brothers, The Commodores, The Temptations, and many others!

2pm - Ray Charles “Spirit of Christmas - WCBE’s Terry Wilson and Columbus musician Roger Hines take a deep dive into the only Christmas album Ray Charles ever recorded.

7am - A Christmas Carol with Jonathan Winters - Master comedian Jonathan Winters presents a distinctive reading of Dickens' holiday classic.

8am - Acoustic Café - It’s Rob Reinhart with an all-holiday edition of Acoustic Café.

10am - Roots ‘N’ Offshoots - WCBE’s Maggie Brennan brings you seasonal Americana classics!

1pm - Jazz Piano Christmas - Check out your favorite holiday classics as you’ve never heard them! This year, hear ferociously talented Japanese musical phenom Hiromi, Mountain Stage’s Bob Thompson, and Bolivian prodigy José André Montaño, chosen as one of the Kennedy Center’s “Next 50” leaders.
