Mike received his degree in business finance form the Ohio State University in the mid 1980's. Since graduation he's made a living from playing, mixing, mastering, and producing music, and joined the WCBE family in 2002.

WCBE is happy to announce the return of Huntertones to studio A.

Based in New York, they got their start right here in Columbus.

Their new release, "Passport" will be coming out on October 5th.

WCBE is pleased to welcome Megan Palmer back to studio A.

She has a new song, "Stetson", and will play at Woodlands Tavern the evening of the 21st with The Spikedrivers.

It's been a couple of years since her last visit.

Hear what she's been up to since then, and listen to a few songs performed live right here in studio A.

WCBE is please to welcome Hadden Sayers back to studio A.

He will be visiting on the same day his new release, "Dopamine Machine", comes out.

Coming up on the evening of the 14th is a show at The High Beck Tavern.

It's been a few years since his last visit.

Currently on their "Falling Rocks" tour, Sandcatchers will be in Columbus to play at the First Unitarian Universalist Church of Columbus the evening of the 7th.

"What We Found Along The Way" is the name of their new release.

Their music blends Middle Eastern and Americana influences including the sounds of the Oud and lapsteel.

This will be their first visit to studio A.

WCBE is pleased to welcome Chicago Farmer back to studio A.

His last visit was back in 2013.

Now he's on the road in support of his new 2 disc live release, "Quarter Past Tonight", which just came out on August 3rd.

WCBE is happy to welcome Cicada Rhythm to studio A.

Their latest release, "Everywhere I Go", came out in April.

This Georgia based band is in town to play at Rumba Café the evening of the 15th with The Artisanals, who will pay a visit to studio A the afternoon of the 15th on the Global Village during the 2pm hour.

This Indie/Folk/Pop band is based in upstste New York.

The have a show coming up at the Albert S. George Youth Center in Barnesville Ohio the evening of the 23rd.

Their release, "From The Light", is now out. It's available through their website, www.theseathesea.com.

WCBE is pleased to welcome Chris Stills.

His release, "Don't Be Afraid", came out in March.

It's available for purchase through his website, www.chrisstills.com.

Chris is the Son Of Stephen Stills and French Singer/Songwriter Véronique Sanson.

The only Central Ohio performance during his current tour will be right here in studio A.

Raised in North Carolina and based in Memphis, Liz Brasher will be in town to perform at the Red Wanting Blue show at the Newport Music Hall the evening of the 8th.

The Receiver will also play at that show.

This act, fronted by JT Nero and Allison Russell will be performing at this years Nelsonville Music Festival.

One of Allison Russel's other projects, Po' Girl, visited studio A back in 2009.

Thier latest release, "Love In Wartime", came out earlier this month.

She's been up to a lot since her last visit to WCBE back in March of last year.

Her new release, "redisCOVERed", will come out just a few days after her visit to studio A.

She will also be performing  as a duet at Notes@Copious on May 25th.

WCBE is pleased to welcome Jill Andrews to studio A.

She will be in Columbus to play at the Rumba Cafe the evening of the 18th.

She also has a new project, Hush Kids, with musician, producer and songwriter Peter Groenwald

This trio will be stopping by WCBE before their CD release show at Woodlands Tavern on Saturday April 28th.

Joining them for this event are opening acts Embers Of Arson and Clemens & Co.

The music will start at about 8pm.

WCBE is looking forward to Tempest returning to studio A.

They're celebrating their 30th year of playing music this year.

Their new release "Thirty Little Turns" is now out.

Their current tour will make a stop at Byrne's Pub the evening of the 26th.

WCBE is happy to have these guys back in studio A.

They have two new records, Ring Of Love and Licks Vol. 1.

Doc Robinson is a collaboration between Nick D. and Jon Elliott.

The release show will be at Four String Brewing.

Some special guests will be making appearances as well.

The Columbus CD release show will be at the Rumba Cafe on Saturday April 14.

Also appearing will be Zach Little from the band Saintseneca, and Adam Remnant.

This singer, songwriter and multi-instrumentalist was a mere teenager the last time he played live at WCBE.

Actually, he's still in his teens, but he's already worked with folks like Leon Russell, Buddy Guy and B. B. King.

This year's Music In The Round includes Brian Douglas Day, the former frontman from Yellow Light Maybe, and Carly Fratianne of the Band Souther.

Also appearing this year are singer-songwriters Joey Viola and Carole Walker.

Larry Campbell, in addition to being a member of Bob Dylan's touring band from 1997 to 2004, has also recorded with Levon Helm, Judy Collins, Lucy Kaplansky, Richard Shindell, Sheryl Crow, Paul Simon, B. B. King, Willie Nelson,  Little Feat, Hot Tuna, Cyndi Lauper and Rosanne Cash, to name a few.

Lately he's been collaborating with his wife, Teresa Williams.

These guys will be stopping by studio A before their show at Dick's Den on Wednesday the 28th.

"The Ninja And The Sea Monster" is the name of their new EP.

Hypnotide is Larry Marotta, Aaron Quinn, Brett Burleson and Joe Nelson.

The new project, "Thousand Peaces", is now out.

Absofacto will play at The Basement the evening of the 23rd.

Also appearing is New York based Two Feet.

This Ohio based band has appeared on Whad'ya Know and Mountain Stage.

Their latest project, a cd/book with illustrations, was funded by the John S. and James L. Knight Foundation.

They will be playing at Natalie's Coal Fired Pizza in Worthington the evening of the 16th.

Her latest effort, "Wishes On A Neon Sign",  just came out last month.

In addition to singing, she also plays Dobro, National Lap Style Guitar and Ukelele on this release.

She will be stopping by studio A for an interview and live performance before her show at Natalie's Coal Fired Pizza in Worthington that night.

This project was started to give young musicians a way to create music about social justice issues.

The second Paragon Project release, "Medicinal Music" has been completed, and the release show will be at the Columbus Performing Arts Center the evening of the 5th.

Based here in Central Ohio, these guys have a new release, "American Heir".

The CD release show will be taking place at Rumba Cafe the evening of the 8th.
