Experience Blooms & Butterflies in the Pacific Island Water Garden, where hundreds of exotic butterflies glide through bright nectar flowers. As you wander the garden, you’ll see butterflies feeding, resting, and gliding through the air in an ever-changing display of color and movement. Don’t miss the Metamorphosis Lab, where you can watch butterflies take their very first flight as they emerge from their chrysalises throughout the day.

The Cardinal Health Gallery will showcase the work of artist Lance Johnson in his exhibition titled A Beautiful Journey. Using a combination of mediums such as collage, graffiti, stencils, texture, and found materials, Lance recreates the feeling of walking through a neighborhood where every wall tells a story.

The exhibition is both a celebration and a reflection of his evolution as an artist. Lance Johnson is a multi-disciplinary visual artist and muralist based in Columbus, known for his bold, expressive use of color, collage, and layered text to tell stories rooted in identity, culture, and community.

A dazzling celebration of spring! More than 140,000 tulips, daffodils, and pansies throughout the gardens and container displays combine with stars of the botanical garden. Magnolias, lilacs, cherries, viburnum, and thousands of perennials bring an exciting burst of scents and colors after a long winter slumber.

Plants bloom throughout the season starting in March and continuing through the following months.

Sign up for some artistic exploration! Children 8+ can express their own creativity with friendly staff to help! They will have a choice of 2 art projects to let their artistic ability shine! You are encouraged to bring a snack and beverage. Price includes all materials and supplies offered for projects that day.

Come in and get a little Brush Crazy! Daisy Joy is our featured painting. We have step by step instructions, with pictures and words for you to follow along as you customize your very own art project!

OR you can always pick something else to paint! Work at your own pace. The paint sheets show you every step along the way, from start to finish! We help you to complete your masterpiece all on your own, but there is always an extra artist on hand for assistance when needed.

Your $10.00 RSVP will be credited toward your in-studio purchase. Items range from $20 to $100+, and you will get your choice of 5 colors to use in your design. Did you know that tie-dye originated from ancient resist-dyeing techniques in Asia and Africa? 🎨💧 Come join us for a vibrant workshop where you can create your own colorful, groovy designs! Your $10.00 RSVP reserves your spot and will be credited towards your purchase. T-Shirts range from $24 to $35, Hoodies range from $43 to $55 depending on size. When you get to the studio, you will choose your shirt and 3 to 5 colors to create your project. Bring your favorite beverage and snacks!

Best way to have fun while making new friends. Whether you've never done improv before or you're a seasoned veteran, come on out and play some games with us at Gresso's!

The idea behind improv is to create entire comedy scenes from scratch, similar to Whose Line Is It Anyway. In addition to being a lot of fun, it also offers lessons in everything from communication to thinking on your feet.

The meetup will be either on the second floor or Gresso's or in the basement (we'll post an update shortly before the start of each meetup). Stay afterward for a drink and/or some food with people!
