About the Artist:

9 G scale model trains travel across 1,122 feet of track that runs high and low through themed destinations: Fairytale Land, Wild West Town, European Travels and the animal-centric Who Lives Here.

Guests can journey with the trains through a miniature world of 51 botanical models made from all-natural plant material. Special elements to add to your itinerary include an enchanted tree hollow, two waterfalls, a bubbling brook and plantings specific to each themed destination.

Come in and get a little Brush Crazy! Welcome to the Crib is our featured painting. We have step by step instructions, with pictures and words for you to follow along as you customize your very own art project! OR you can always pick something else to paint! Work at your own pace. The paint sheets show you every step along the way, from start to finish! We help you to complete your masterpiece all on your own, but there is always an extra artist on hand for assistance when needed. Bring your favorite beverages and food! Fun and Relaxing is what your peers have said about Brush Crazy! So, grab a friend or two or three and Paint Your Way To Fun!

If you’ve always wanted to learn line dancing, this is your chance! Join us for a fun, welcoming environment where we’ll dance easy-to-follow steps to a variety of music. There’s something for everyone - no partner or experience needed.

Options:

Drop-In: Open Line Dancing (All Levels) - $8

This is not a formal lesson, but beginners are welcome to follow along! Seasoned dancers can enjoy practicing with a group.

6-Week Line Dancing Intensive - $72

Learn line dancing fundamentals and technique in depth. Includes a 45-minute lesson with NTA-certified instructor Edie Driskill and one hour of practice prior to the lesson.

What to Wear: Layers - you will get hot! Bring dance shoes, smooth-soled shoes, or plan to dance in socks. Shoe tubes (to cover the ball of your shoe) are available for $5.

Street shoes are not permitted on the dance floor.

Is it hot in here, or is it just your writing? Birds do it, bees do it . . . so why is it so hard for writers to do it—or rather, to do it well? Writing about sex, like the very act itself, can be difficult, funny, embarrassing, intense, evocative, compelling, sad, political, boring, mind-blowing, exciting, and exhausting. How much is too much? When is it not enough? What will others think of us? And what about our own self-censors? We will consider these and other perils and joys of getting believable, effective, sometimes beautiful and literary sex scenes on the page. We’ll look at published samples, and cover tips and traps to avoid—starting with the fact that sex in literature is rarely just about the sex at all. Join us for this evening delight! And note—this class is about writing sex scenes in works of fiction and memoir, NOT about writing erotica or porn.

Rated R for Real—all participants must be 18 or older.
