Columbus, OH – Movies inspired by comic books made a comeback in 2008, with tthe release of "Ironman", "The Incredible Hulk" and "The Dark Knight", the latest Batman movie. In May, Warner Brothers will relaunch the Terminator franchise, with "Terminator: Salvation". The new film picks up several years after the conclusion of the last movie, after the protagonist has grown up. Before the movie comes out, the man responsible for bringing the audience up to date is Columbus comic book author Dara Naraghi. The first of four monthly comics, "Terminator: Sand in the Gears" was released this week. Naraghi tells WCBE's Alison Holm it's a new start for an influential series -- and he got a chance to put his own spin on the story.
