Upper Arlington School levy slated for fall ballot

The Upper Arlington school board has voted to place a 5.8-mill operating levy on the November ballot. It is the district's first money request in five years. If approved, the measure would generate 9.2 million dollars a year to fund district operations. It would cost the owner of a 100-thousand dollar home 178 dollars more per year. Upper Arlington joins the Dublin, Worthington, and New Albany-Plain Local districts in placing money issues on the fall ballot.
