New License Plates In Spring

License plates in the Buckeye State will be getting a face lift next spring.

The Ohio Bureau of Motor Vehicles has chosen 46 attractions, slogans and facts to make up a backdrop for the state's new plates.  The newly designed plates feature bigger, bolder blue letters and numbers on a gray backdrop.
Traditionally, Ohio plates have featured only one slogan at a time, ranging  from  "Heart of it All" to "Seat Belts Fastened?" Now there will be nearly 4 dozen to choose from.  The slogans were chosen by an online contest.  Among hose available will be the state's official motto:  "With God All Things Are Possible," and it's unofficial motto: "The Buckeye State."
