An eastern Kentucky man has been detained by federal officials who say he carried multiple firearms and ran through a roadblock during President Barack Obama's visit to the Cincinnati region earlier this month. A federal criminal complaint unsealed in Covington Wednesday says Kerry T. Prater of West Liberty had three weapons and a "quantity of ammunition" when he ran through a Erlanger police roadblock on September, 17th. Obama's motorcade passed through northern Kentucky that day on the way to Cincinnati. The complaint says Prater has a lengthy criminal history and has been previously declared mentally ill.
