"Hilltop Creeper" Wants Statements To Police Dismissed

The man Columbus police have dubbed "The Hilltop Creeper" is asking a judge to throw out his interview with detectives. 33-year-old Deneen Black is due to appear in court on September 5th. Prosecutors say he made incriminating statements in the interview. Black's attorney says investigators failed to read him his Miranda rights before the interview was conducted. Black was arrested last September for allegedly breaking into seven Hilltop homes and touching or watching women as they slept. Police say Black is a suspect in 19 such cases.
