Business Owner Pleads Guilty To Illegally Dumping Fracking Wastewater

A former Youngstown wastewater-company executive has pleaded guilty to federal Clean Water Act violations in the dumping of thousands of gallons of fracking wastewater into that city's storm sewer system. 63-year-old Ben Lupo has changed his plea from not guilty and is scheduled for sentencing June 16. Prosecutors say Lupo ordered an employee at Hardrock Excavating to repeatedly dump thousands of gallons between November 2012 and January 2013.
