Columbus School Kids To Get Free Lunches This Fall

U.S. Department of Agriculture

Every student in the Columbus City Schools will get free lunches when classes resume in the fall. District officials say the cost of providing two meals a day to 50-thousand students will be covered by a federal program for high-poverty areas. Officials say parents won't have to fill out applications and the district will save money on its food program.
