One of the three men charged with selling bath salts at four Columbus convenience stores has been sentenced to three years in prison. 30-year-old Hasan Mobarak pleaded guilty to two counts of drug trafficking as part of a plea bargain. His 31-year-old brother Soleiman was sentenced to 35 years in prison in June. They operated a store on East Fifth Avenue that was raided last year, along with three North High Street stores owned by Thomas Smith. Charges against Smith were dismissed earlier this year after a judge ruled bath salts were not controlled-substances as defined by Ohio law at the time he was selling them.
