Prosecutors: Bucyrus Man Killed People For Drug Money

beaumontenterprise.com

Crawford County prosecutors say a Bucyrus man fatally beat or strangled four others at their homes while on a cocaine binge, then confessed to police after recognizing a victim's relative in a newspaper photo. 41-year-old Donald Hoffman pleaded guilty to aggravated murder Wednesday and was sentenced to life in prison as part of a plea deal for the slayings last fall. Prosecutors say Hoffman was looking to steal money for drugs.
